In the Australian market, the Metanium MGL is the gold standard for baitcasters. The Magnesium CoreSolid Body of this top-of-the-line baitcast model is created to provide unrivalled durability, rigidity, and sensitivity. The addition of the Magnumlite Spool III, which reduces spool inertia by 17%, takes this to the next level. The New SVS system has been added to enable a larger range of brake adjustment via the external dial, greatly enhancing castability and control. The Quiet Tune technology lowers spool bearing vibration for quiet reeling, and the Micro Module main gear is constructed from solid brass.
